Illustration Friday Theme: Tea

Some days, a nice hot cup of tea is about as important to drawing as my paint brushes and pencils.

I love your style. Your world is so wonderfully idyllic. Great little details, too, like the undone shoe lace.

Paige, i love your illo. Reminds me of my carefree days as a student, whereby I will lie down on the floor and doodle happily. Great illo!

This is right off a page in a book!

It would also be great as a print!

I like the angle you chose, and your nice wash technique.

I really like looking down on the scene with the sprawling figure and the paints and snacks all around - it's like peeking into a private world:>

What everybody else said!! Point of view, colors, details. (I think the cookies might seduce me faster than the tea, though). Cloudy with a chance of.... tea and biscuits?!!

You know, Paige, I think you're one of my favorite illustrators out there. I check your site regularly and am amazed by how much you post on your blog. Every one of your illustrations has a great charm to it, this one as well.

Great work!

I have to agree with Dennis. You're so prolific, it's scary! Very good illo. I think it conveys that sense of being lost in your art perfectly. He's in the zone!
