Illustration Friday: Burning

Little Red Bird was riding the gator's tail at a burning speed, until the gator stopped.
"Giddyup!" said Red Bird.

"At a burning speed"--hmmmm, I think I just made up that phrase, I can't find it on google lol.  Oh well it's staying.

(Sorry about the triple post on Illustration Friday, I couldn't get my link to work)

Lovely!! The alligator's expression is great. I like the circular vignette. And burning speed works for me! :)

'Burning Speed' - sounds good to me, I reckon it's what you get after setting a blistering pace!

Does this gator have a name? Makes me think of Lyle the Crocodile.

Thanks everyone! :0)

Susanne: In the story I'm illustrating he doesn't have a name. And this guy's an alligator.
