Beatrix Potter was one of my first influences when falling in love with kids book world. I have always loved her work and I own the new Miss Potter movie, of course! ;o) I had to get my copy as soon as it was available!

I love your last two posts very much my dear. Great job!

Thanks Phyllis! I've always been aware of her work, but this is the first time I've taken a close look and can truly appreciate it. Her watercolors (including her landscapes which I've seen online of the Lake District) are breathtaking.

I'm a watercolors fiend too Sorrentino! I recently tried acrylics again, but immediately missed my watercolors. There's something about them that is so exciting. Thanks very much for your nice comments on my work :0)

Thank you for posting your working sketches Paige, I find it really helpful and inspiring to see how illustrators work. I'm going to have to see that Miss Potter film!
