Can pigs actually fly? Yes, but only with a little help from a cannon. And don't ask me how he fit in there in the first place. It was probably a tight squeeze for the daring piglet. I haven't posted this on illustration Friday yet because it's almost 2am, I'm tired and have an appointment with my pillow. Can't be late.
Rendered with watercolors on soft press Fabriano watercolor paper. A very large illustration too - measuring about 14 inches wide. Click to enlarge.

Paige I have an appointment with my pillow too! Hey I think this might very well be. . .in my humble opinion.. . your best work yet! I love it!
Wow! Beautiful!...
Hey, I also like Fabriano!
How the pig squeezed into the cannon, simple. Plunger. How he crashed through a brick wall escaping all injury, there lies the real mystery.
By the way, I think the fly cathing frog would also make a great book mark.
How is it possible that you work is getting better than it already is?? GORGEOUS!!
This is so fun and beautifully painted. I came up with a flying pig too!
Wonderfully painted and so cute!
Explosive! and fantastic, Paige.

Hi there, we happened to use the same "Pigs May Fly" take on the subject, but I really love where you took yours! It looks like you have at least three weeks worth of IF topics in one image as well: Gravity, Crash, and Red. Nicely done. :)
Fun piggies!
