Well, as a drummer in a 'used to be' rock band, the first thing I thought of was the Crash cymbal. Below are orchestra crash cymbals about to be put to very good use.
I'm with the enigma, I love the colors. The purple wall and brown desk are perfect, I'd like to handle watercolors like this.
Will you forgive some unsolicited criticism? The light from the lamp seems to trail off the page when I think maybe it should meet the table top at some point.
Or maybe not. I love this illustration. That's my brother and me. Except he'd be punching my arm.
