Pig and Mouse in the City

This kind of grew out of my extreme boredom with drawing dots for eyes all the time.  I've actually been trying all sorts of new things lately.  Anyways, this started as just a mouse sketch in the corner of some used watercolor paper.  Then, suddenly...a pig grew out of him!  Well he needed to stand on something!  Then, out of nowhere, buildings appeared.  What a strange trip it's been.

I think that's always appealing when "happy accidents" happen, ;)
this is lovely!

Don't ya just love that when it happens?! Some of my best sketches have come about like that.

I think this is really fun and makes me want to see what the story is about! So keep on daydreaming...it may just turn into your next book dummy! :)

Thanks everyone! There are a lot of things about this drawing that I would change (since it was a quick doodle) but I think it has a spark to it style-wise so I'll probably do some more exploring with this direction.
