Illustration Friday: "Tails" and Legends

Here's a tale of tails, although this is actually quite impossible. Hippo's tails are short and stubby.

Cute, as always! It reminds me of the Rudyard Kipling Tales... Hmmm ... maybe "How the Hippo got it's short tail" (from each Hippo pulling and having their tails rip off?) or "How the frog ended up so short." (as a result of a hippo sitting on it for laughing at them?). Nicely done!

What a hilarious piece-such lovely color and great lines. The hippo's expressions are wonderful. That (meanie)frog is the gold star of the scene!
