Since I can't use watercolors in the Moleskine sketchbook (and still haven't received the Moleskin watercolor journal) I've decided to use this one as a sketchbook for illustration ideas. The alien creatures, and boy with tie are all character sketches for a picture book manuscript I've written.
I drew the little girl with horns when I was mad about something, LOL. :0)

Wonderful! The sketches are delightful. Now that you have ordered the watercolor journal I am sure you will be busy filling that one up as well. I think you're going to inspire anyone who doesn't have a moleskine, to go get one or two! By the way, is that a chocolate chip cookie I see? Mmmmmmmmmmm

Hey thanks you guys - I usually don't like how my sketches come out, but I was happy enough with these to post them. Maybe I'm actually getting better at drawing? Sometimes I have such a hard time with certain subjects I feel like I'm a beginner again with a handful of crayons.
