I like both styles, but if I have to pick, I think I like the fluidity of the thinner lines better. The hammy is moving more, and the thin lines lend themselves to that better. But really, I do like both.
My inner Betsy Lewin fan likes the thicker, brushier lines. It depends on the character/story so much though, because I really do like some your softer edged, pencil (almost no line) pieces when the mood is a bit more somber or quiet. HUGE congrats on the new agent. I tried to comment on that a few weeks back but something didn't work. Marcia should be fantastic. Cheers!

I'm going to start doing some full illustrations in both for more compare and contrast. It will also, probably, boil down to which is the most fun haha. :0)
Hi Paige, I like both, but part of me likes the thinner lines just a touch more, because I like the movement in the lines and for the line to not obscure the small character. I guess which is right for the book depends on the size of the images on the page etc. Do whichever you prefer - it will show in the final art if you are enjoying it.
Both lines have a nice energy and feel to them. I like the thin line more because it seems to fit the character a bit more but I could easily go ether way. You're awesome.

Love the newest one Paige, because the lines are kind of both, thick and thin and they have more energy, to me anyway :) Both styles are nice though.

I think both are wonderful and depending on what you enjoy doing more, and what the story calls for will warrant which to use...just my 2 cents. :)
