Illustration Friday: Suspense

This was an easy one for me idea-wise.  It's always around February I start waiting with suspense for spring time to arrive.  Even the smallest signs are a delight to me.

So cute! The light in this picture is awesome. Did you know growing plants can even melt the snow around their feet because they produce a little heat?

What an expressive fox! I sure know the feeling of waiting for spring. We have snow till April, but if I look closely I start seeing signs around mid-March, mostly up in the branches of trees, away from the ground.

What a beautiful fox. Everything is so tender and subtile in your illustration. Wonderful!

I certainly know how that fox feels! He looks like he's willing the plant to grow. And that is one cool (no pun intended) fact, PiaD!

Beautiful, Paige. I'm always blown away with the fresh simplicity of your style and how much you say with so little! Really wonderful! Great idea too.
