Illustration Friday: Balloon




I couldn't decide which style to paint this sketch in so I ended up doing both!

i actually prefer the top one. The colours are just stunning and the balloon, hat, scarf and tie all stand out more which i think makes a nicer composition.

love the addition of the blues, in 2, but 1 is so soft...lends such a nice tone and mood to the story. :))

I like them both but feel the second one is stronger but I think the solid color balloon better.
