Illustration Friday: Blanket

A three year old with ice cream is much warmer than a dusty old blanket...right?

One of my favorite things about your work, other than the sheer cuteness of your topic, is the wonderful way you create shadows with your watercolor. I love studying your illos in hopes of learning to acquire the same skill in my drawings. Lovely illo, as always! (Did you ever read Zen Shorts? Maybe this will be it's companion tale.)

The panda looks so cooperative - or perhaps long-suffering:> This is purely delightful:>

Your painting style is lovely. I too would love an ice cream while sitting on a panda. Of course, the panda probably wouldn't appreciate that too much!
