Hi everyone, I accidentally had the settings on "only members of this blog can comment". Oopsy daisies lol. Anyways, sorry about that! I'm the only member of this blog, so that certainly didn't work out well. So, everything should be back to normal. :D
Also, expect more posts (hopefully) in the coming weeks. Summer was a little crazy and one of the first things to suffer is the blog. I think I'm finally back in the saddle again. It's so hard to start back up after some time away, isn't it?
Anyone notice that since Facebook, visiting numbers have slowly dropped over the yeras? Kind of makes me sad that the community isn't the way it used to be. I sometimes wonder if I should just close this one down, and make an artist page on Facebook? Well, I wouldn't shut it totally down, I'd leave the old posts up. I don't know--I'd probably miss it. I'll think about it a while....
Cheers!

NO, please don't. I rarely go to facebook. I'd much rather come here. I know what you mean about face book, I just can't get into it, though I suppose I really, really should. It just all takes up soooooo much time.
I did wonder about the comment thing ;)
No no! Don't close your blog! I think the blog works so much better for an artist. Facebook is great for keeping in touch with friends but blog I think works great as an artist's diary.
I agree with KHW and CW-- don't go!
I agree with them:)Don't do it!
Please don't close your blog - I just found your site recently. I'm starting on ideas for my own. I agree, blogs are better for artists. :)
I'm glad you brought this up. I've just been trying to visit the blogs of my blog followers from way back, and just can't find a bunch of them any more. Have they all gone to Facebook and Twitter, which I don't use? I miss them. Keep blogging!
I agree with everyone here -- don't stop blogging! I find it so much better for artists than FB. I have a FB page, but hardly use it for art purposes. I think blogs are great for illustrators and children's books lovers and yours is one of the best out there.
:-)
Sweet Paige... I'm sorry to say, but you can't shut down your blog. ;o)
You are an inspiration to many I can assure you that! Your blog is honest and very you and it's filled with tons of beautiful art and useful information for many people.
I know there is FB (yuck, me no like.. hee hee) and Twitter ( Yay, me like.. ) but nothing really replaces a blog. It's sort of like visiting someone's home. And I love visiting yours. :o)
